Vyacheslav Vorobyev, Deputy President – Chairman of the Board

Vyacheslav Vorobyev

Mr. Vorobyev was born on February 4, 1969 in Khabarovsk. In 1994 he graduated from Khabarovsk Institute of National Economy specializing in Finance and Credit.

In 1993—1996 he held offices of Senior Economist, Head of Loan and Planning Department and Deputy Manager of the Vneshtorgbank branch in the city of Khabarovsk. In 1996—2002 he was the Director of the Khabarovsk branch of the Bank.

In 2002 he moved to the central office of Vneshtorgbank. During 2002—2004 he was the Head of Department for Organizing Work with Regional Institutions, then the Head of the Regional Development Department. He worked on network standardization, and development and implementation of the Bank’s branch network development concept up to the year 2008.

In 2004 he was appointed Vice-President of Vneshtorgbank Corporate Hub, where he managed the creation of a specialized commercial model for regional (middle-scale) corporate clients and its deployment by the whole Bank network.

Since June 2006 he has headed the VTB24’s Network Department. In August 2006, he was appointed Deputy President – Chairman of the Board.
